Microneedling can improve skin tone, texture and firmness. It also lightens dark spots, fine wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, cellulite and thinning hair. Noticeable results are usually apparent after four treatments.

Possible reactions:
Temporary bruising, redness or swelling, pinprick bleeding, lightening or darkening of the skin, itching and burning, which usually resolve in 24 to 48 hours. Skin infection is a possibility after any injection or surgical procedure. Total healing time depends on needle depth, skin type and condition. Results and reactions vary from person to person, but most people report a light sunburn sensation for less than 24 hours.

Can I wear make up after a treatment?
No. Do not put anything on the face except for water and the Hyaluronic acid serum after a treatment for 24 hours.
The next day make-up and your regular skin care routine is ok.

How do I prepare for a treatment?
It is best to arrive with bare, clean skin without make-up or moisturizers. Also have a mineral based sunscreen for future time spent out in the sun. Have Hyaluronic acid serum ready to apply to the skin daily over the next month.

When can I get my next treatment?
New elastin and collagen have been stimulated to fill in the channels created in the dermal skin layer for the next four weeks. You can book your next treatment after four weeks.

When is microneedling not suitable?
• Having used Accutane (Isotretinoin) within the last year.
• Having open wounds, cuts or abrasions on the skin.
• Having had any kind of current skin infection or viral infection of the skin area that should be treated first.
• Having a history of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
